| Synopsis |
| Love is in the air at the Cricket County Café. Elmer Crick proposes to Glenda Mae and insists they get married on Christmas Eve—but gettin' hitched doesn't go without a hitch. Fester loses the ring while ice fishing, Brenda Mae searches relentlessly for her Prince Charmin', ninety-something Orvel pesters Grandma for a date, the City Cousins think Elmer is marrying Glenda Mae for her money, the phone rings off the hook with carryout orders, and Mimi is the most overbearing wedding planner ever. She wants exquisite flowers, imported silks and caviar, but all Elmer wants is a simple live Nativity. Zinging one-liners, homespun Southern sayings, a lot of caterwallin', and solid theology culminate in an unforgettable curtain call that is one part live Nativity and one part wedding. We reckon y'all will love it! |
