SCRIPT PREVIEW
Synopsis
Only four women are needed for this simple and compelling dramatic program on Moses. His writing of the Ten Commandments and leading Israel out of slavery could not have happened without the intervention of four key women who saved his life: Midwife Shiphrah, who disregarded Pharaoh’s command to kill all baby boys; his mother Jochebed, who reluctantly sent her baby boy down the river in a basket with her prayers for God’s protection; his sister Miriam, who kept a close watch on the basket; and Pharaoh’s Daughter, who brought Moses out of the water to safety and raised him as her own. Requires almost no rehearsal. The broad theme is that God performs great works through everyday acts of faith.
