All convene at the humble manger in a Christmas-card-worthy tableau. But the performance isn't over yet! Apparitions dressed in white resembling each of the characters appear: a ghostly angel, shepherd, wise man, and Mary and Joseph. They share the rhyme and reason, purpose and plan for the roles in the Christmas story that each figure embodies—at once simple, yet profound. Each one contributes to the incredible experience of Jesus' birth and the ongoing message of Christmas. The pageant concludes with a poignant scene of the grown Jesus holding himself as a baby and speaking truth into all our lives.
