Included are John the Baptist, Martha and her sister Mary, Paul, Timothy, Mary Magdalene, Peter and Mary, the mother of Jesus. A speaker begins a sermon which is interrupted by a shouting John the Baptist. Others enter in sequence, all endeavoring to tell who Jesus was. Each character tells a story from the New Testament. The dialogue is lively and sprinkled with touches of humor. While there is friendly disagreement, in the end all agree that more important than who Jesus was is who Jesus is, for today and all eternity. |
