His earnest conversations with his dog. Mary and Joseph's donkey, a cow, a sheep and a camel convince him that a very special baby—the Messiah—is about to be born in Bethlehem! But Thaddeus's friends find this hard to believe. After all, he got his information from animals! Eventually the children see the holy family for themselves and share in the wonder of the newborn Jesus. Includes several well-known carols and one original song, "God's Own Son." Children in the nursery class through junior high may participate. The youngest students may serve as a choir and the flock of sheep.
