Some just-for-fun characters crash the scene, like a stressed innkeeper with a mile-long to-do list. The music adds zing to the narrative through the songs' many styles, from ballads to be-bop. Nine original songs with piano accompaniment are included: "Once upon a Winter Night," "You've Found Favor," "Quiet Delight," "Joseph's Choice," "Innkeeper's Lament," "Shepherd's Bop," "God Is with Us," "We Are Some Wise Men" and "Lullaby, My Little Boy."
